Hope For Youth Program Supervisor

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide oversight, coordinate, and implement the Hope for Youth program (HFY). This position will also provide direct supervision of the HFY program team under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Hope Street.

Some Essential Duties and Functions are:

  • Provides oversight and ensure the effective implementation of the Hope for Youth program.
  • Provide direct supervision of the HFY Program Coordinators and HFY Program Assistants.
  • Facilitate evidence-based interventions, to include but not limited to: Support for Students Exposed to Trauma, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Assist the Director of Hope Street with ensuring program compliance and required reporting with all contracts and funders.
  • Assist with recording and compiling statistical data and submitting reports at month’s end as required by the agency or its funders.
  • Provide direct services to program participants which includes but not limited to program orientation, pre/post assessments, support services, discharge planning, etc. Participate in continuing education opportunities including agency in-service training, professional seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with the at-risk youth or youth in a juvenile justice setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a nonprofit setting, preferred.
