Student Health Outreach Program Supervisor

Lakeland, FL or Tampa, FL

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide oversight, coordinate, and implement the Student Health Outreach Program in Hillsborough and Polk counties. This position will also provide direct supervision of the Student Health Outreach program team as a whole under the supervision and guidance of the Executive Director of Family Support.

Some Essential Duties and Functions are:

  • Maintain a caseload of 1-2 program sites as assigned by the Executive Director of Family Support, but not to exceed 3 unless approved by the Executive Director.
  • Provides oversight and ensure the effective implementation of the daily programming for the Student Health Outreach program.
  • Facilitate evidence-based interventions, to include but not limited to: Real Essentials Starting Point and Real Essentials Advance
  • Assist the Executive Director of Family Support with ensuring program compliance and required reporting with all contracts and funders.
  • Provide direct supervision of the Student Health Outreach program facilitators.
  • Assist with recording and compiling statistical data and submitting reports at month’s end as required by the agency or its funders.
  • Provide direct services to program participants which includes but not limited to program orientation, pre/post assessments, support services, discharge planning, etc.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities including agency in-service training, professional seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • 2-3 years of experience working with the at-risk youth or youth in an educational setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
