Warehouse Logistics Coordinator, Lakeland, FL

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to own and manage the system of receiving and distributing inbound and outbound donations to and from OMC’s compassion centers and campuses.  They will also maintain the inventory system for OMC’s compassion centers and campuses.

Some of the duties and functions of this job are:

  • Develops and maintains a logistics system of processes and procedures for inbound and outbound donations at each OMC compassion center.
  • Coordinates, monitors, and records inbound donations to the appropriate OMC compassion centers and campuses.
  • Coordinates, monitors, and records outbound donations to the appropriate OMC compassion centers, campuses, or partner organizations.
  • Coordinates the daily driver schedule of pickups and deliveries with the Warehouse Directors and campus staff at each OMC compassion center and campus.
  • Records data efficiently and accurately into complex software systems.
  • Records incoming gift-in-kind donations and outgoing donations to partner organizations.
  • Develops and manages record keeping and a current inventory of product in an organized system.
  • Maintains a current database of partner organizations for inbound and outbound donations.
  • Assists in finding new partner organizations or businesses for inbound and outbound donations.
  • Cultivates and nurtures relationships with partner organizations through frequent and consistent communication methods.
  • Submits reports and appropriate records on a regular basis – weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
  • Strong organizational/administrative skills
  • Maintain a strong sense of partnership and teamwork
  • Self-starter with drive, passion, and initiative
