Friends,

Jesus once used the obedience of a young boy to feed thousands of hungry people with just a small lunch. Similarly, He can use your gift to multiply the ability to feed children here today! Children down the street and around the globe have extensive needs, but God’s provision is even greater. What is even more incredible is that God invites us to be a part of this life-changing work! He simply says “you feed them” in Mark 6:37a.

At One More Child, we are taking Jesus’ command to “feed them” seriously. Children like Nichole* who have experienced horrific treatment at the hands of their abuser, now have their physical, emotional and spiritual care through our Anti-Trafficking program.

Nichole was 15 years old when she first arrived at the safe home. Her mother’s drug addiction had transformed her once loving family home into an unsafe environment, one in which Nichole felt used, unprotected and vulnerable.

After much counseling, love and provision by our amazing staff, Nichole transitioned to a foster home and then recently back to her family home! Even though Nichole has left our home, she has not left our care. During the pandemic shutdowns, we were able to hand-deliver groceries to her home.

With your simple obedience through giving, children like Nichole can learn to trust and accept care and love. Please join us this Thanksgiving so that together, we can provide an abundance of food to hungry children! May you be blessed as you have been a blessing to others.

Together for One More Child,
