Team: New Hope Church, MI and Joy Christian Fellowship, NC

Today was our last day at the Center. I knew it would be hard to say goodbye to the kids, but I didn’t know how hard. It took only a day to fall in love with those beautiful children, who blessed us so much more than we could ever bless them.
God has been so faithful to our team from the very beginning. One of the biggest lessons I learned on this trip was that God truly has a unique and powerful purpose for every single one of us, from the most seasoned missionary down to the smallest child being cared for by One More Child. His miracles are constantly working, if only we open our eyes to see and hearts to accept.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’ Remember your leaders, who spoke to word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:5-8
Thank you, Cesar, for being our leader this week and speaking the Word of God to us.
