Stephen Robert

President/CEO

Stephen Robert is the president/CEO of One More Child. His leadership throughout the organization has been critical to expanding services for children and families and increasing One More Child’s impact for children in need. Last year, One More Child served 271,193 children and individuals and provided more than 18 million meals.  

From 2019 – 2024, Stephen served as Chief Operations Officer where he helped develop the organization’s strategic vision and is currently carrying out its national expansion efforts in North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas. While COO, One More Child increased the children and families served by 68 percent.   

He also led the National Distribution Network launch which operates in nine states and partners with more than 200 organizations resulting in a $46 million increase in Gift-in-Kind distribution to help children and families in need. 

Stephen previously served as the Executive Vice President and Vice President of Church Engagement and Strategic Operations. Stephen’s expertise in program leadership, strategic operations, church engagement, business partnerships, and more have grown our ministry exponentially. 

In addition to leading One More Child’s growth and expansion, he also oversees capital projects underway in Lakeland, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Sarasota. 

Stephen is a regular speaker, advocate, and thought leader on topics related to nonprofit management and child welfare. He has partnered with faith leaders, legislators, and government officials throughout the world to address human trafficking, child hunger, foster care, and other humanitarian issues.  

Prior to joining One More Child in 2010, Stephen worked in the furniture industry for 10 years. He was the general manager for a retail furniture franchise overseeing multiple retail store locations. 

Stephen graduated from Florida State University with a degree in economics and earned a master’s degree in Christian studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  

Stephen is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Stephen has been ordained into the Gospel Ministry by his home church, First Baptist Church of Plant City. 

He and his wife, Laura, reside in Lakeland with their four children, Rileigh, Landen, Hannah, and Micah.

Averitt Ennis

Senior Vice President of External Partnerships and Government Affairs

As Senior Vice President of External Partnerships and Government Affairs at One More Child, Averitt serves as the national chief fundraising strategist and external partnership leader with churches, volunteers, corporations, non-profits, legislators and others to help meet the needs of vulnerable children and struggling families. His passion is to ensure One More Child remains fiscally strong and continues to meet the goal of always helping one more child.

Averitt is a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s and master’s degree.  He is also a graduate of the Fund Raising School at Indiana University. Averitt has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership.

Prior to joining One More Child, Averitt was employed by Orlando Health where he was a Vice President within their Foundation and provided oversight for the capital campaign, annual fund program, donor relationships and policy development. He is noted for his visionary, effective and results-driven leadership. Averitt is a member at Family Church in Windermere, FL. He and his wife, Renee, have three daughters. Averitt believes his role at One More Child is a unique way to serve those in the most vulnerable positions.

Pam Fuller

Senior Director of National Development and Planned Giving 

Pam Fuller serves as Director of Annual Gifts. She is responsible for cultivating donor relationships and leading Women of Compassion, a world-changing giving society of women who are passionate about helping innocent children in need. Adopted as an infant through a children’s home in another state, Pam has enthusiastically supported the mission of One More Child for many years.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Florida and spent the first 24+ years of her professional career working for elected officials at the state and federal levels. Pam is honored by the God-sized opportunity to help One More Child provide hope and security to children in need.

Pam and her husband Michael have been married for 26 years. They are parents of an adult son, Alec, and attend Lakes Church in Lakeland where Pam serves in the preschool ministry and attends the Divine By Design Connect Group. Pam is also a published author, a cancer survivor and college football enthusiast.

Hannah White

Director of Development

Hannah White serves as the Director of Development for FBCH and One More Child in Central Florida. She is responsible for cultivating and stewarding donor relationships on behalf One More Child. 

Hannah graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Non-Profit Leadership. In 2018, she joined the One More Child family in the Global Department and later joined the Development team in 2019. Prior to joining One More Child, Hannah served overseas with the International Mission Board. She has a heart for helping children and families both locally and globally. Hannah is a member of Lakes Church – South Lakeland Campus.
