One More Child’s Loft 181 is a clothing boutique for teenage girls ages 13-18, with a special focus on supporting foster care youth and trafficking survivors. Each visitor selects from a curated collection of new and gently-used clothing – all provided free of charge!
Beyond style, Loft 181 offers a transformational experience where every guest can find a loving haven of acceptance and newfound hope.
Founded in 2006, Loft 181 took its name from the number of girls in the Hillsborough County foster care system at the time. Initially situated in a space called the “Loft” at Idlewild Church, the shop has since blossomed into a beautiful standalone boutique. It now serves as an extension of One More Child, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children and families both nationally and globally.
At-risk teenage girls shop by appointment only. Call 813.245.9397 or email us to make an appointment.
Anyone can book a tour to visit Loft 181. Be sure to schedule your visit with our team by calling 813.245.9397 or email our Loft 181 staff.

At Loft 181, volunteers have the opportunity to serve on Sorting Days and/or Shopping Days. These volunteer opportunities include the following:
Sorting Days:
Volunteers meet at the store on Tuesdays from 10am – 1pm to sort through all the donated items, removing anything that doesn’t meet our standards and organizing the rest to display in the store. This is a lightly active role (many of our volunteers sit while they work) without client interaction. This is a vital component to ensure that Loft 181 is ready for shopping appointments with clients!
Shopping Days:
Prior to volunteering, all volunteers must fill out a background check and volunteer agreement:
We require anyone who wants to work with clients to either come tour the store or volunteer during Sorting Day to familiarize themselves with the managers, the store, and the shopping process.
Approved volunteers with a completed background check and volunteer agreement can use the following link to sign up for a slot on our schedule: Sign up here
Volunteers are encouraged to come as often as they are able.
