Komal is a radiant, young woman in South Asia who receives support through a One More Child young adult educational scholarship. She comes from a family in which many of those closest to her struggle with substance use and addiction. Despite living surrounded by such challenges in South Asia, she is an overcomer! Recently, thanks to her scholarship, Komal completed the first semester of nursing school.
One More Child rejoiced to see this picture of her, glowing with her success in a beautiful white nursing dress. We pray that she is able to continue to overcome the discouragement and distraction of her circumstances in South Asia to complete her nursing program.
