It’s officially Christmas season—a time for joy, family, and celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
For many people, Christmas is filled with laughter and cheer, but for struggling families, Christmas may also be full of fear and hardship. Some parents are simply worried about getting food on the table this Christmas and cannot even entertain the idea of Christmas presents.
For many parents and guardians, the Christmas season requires immense sacrifice, not only to provide for their children’s needs, but also to give them a memorable, enjoyable Christmas celebration. One More Child comes alongside families in need and offers resources to help them lead their families with strength, confidence, and joy, especially during the holiday season.
We invite you to become an agent for joy in this mission with “Operation Merry Christmas.”
Operation Merry Christmas is your opportunity to bless a child in your area. When you become an agent for joy with One More Child this Christmas season, you will provide a gift to a child in our care through our Anti-Trafficking, Foster Care, Family Support, or Single Moms programs.
There are a few ways you can give this year:
- You can bring an unwrapped gift from the wish list to one of our drop-off locations. Each of our programs has its own wish lists, and the requests come directly from the children. We have 15 drop-off locations across Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas. View our Operation Merry Christmas webpage to see the full wish lists and drop-off locations.
- Send a gift from our available registries. We created Amazon wish list registries for our Single Moms and Anti-Trafficking clients. You can purchase gifts from these wish lists, which will be sent directly to One More Child’s team to give to children in our care.
- Give to One More Child. All year long, we serve and meet the needs of vulnerable children and struggling families—but our heart aches for one more. There are always more children in need of hope and more families in need of support. This Christmas, make your best gift so that, together, we can make a difference in the life of one more child.
One More Child staff will be working like elves to stock the shelves for children and families in our care! All gifts are needed by Friday, December 13.
Help us bless one more child this Christmas season! Merry Christmas, and God bless you!
