The Scott Family

Misti and Ardeis Scott walk faithfully in their calling to serve foster children with the ultimate goal to show the love of Christ.

Since being licensed in 2019, the Scotts have cared for children of various ages. The Scott family’s care reaches beyond comfort and spreads from the cries of a newborn to the needs of a 16-year-old getting their license.

The hand of God is evident as they work with their foster children’s biological parents through difficult circumstances. In 14 months, they met with, mentored, and encouraged their 2-month-old foster child’s mother every week, teaching her to be the strong mother she is. After those weeks of mentoring, the mother was reunified with her newborn baby because of the Scott’s intentionality to show her love and support.
