One More Child Supports Operation We Will Find You to Recover 33 Missing Children in Florida

One More Child partnered with the United States Marshals Service (USMS) to play a critical role in Operation We Will Find You, a nationwide operation that included multiple state and local agencies and resulted in the recovery and aftercare of 225 missing children, 33 of whom were in located Central Florida.

For more than two weeks, One More Child’s Anti-Trafficking Mobile Teams (ATMT) staffed recovery locations in Florida, providing essential support and aftercare services to survivors. One More Child’s team is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of specialists in trauma counseling, advocacy, and peer mentorship. Each team includes professionals with the expertise and resources to assist in the identification, recovery, and restoration of child trafficking victims.

“At One More Child, we believe in providing holistic care to survivors of trafficking, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We are honored to have been part of this operation, ensuring that these children receive the care and support they need to begin the journey of healing and restoration,” said Jodi Domangue, Executive Director of Anti-Trafficking at One More Child.

Anti-Trafficking staff collaborates with law enforcement agencies, local communities, and other organizations to identify and respond to cases of trafficking domestically and globally.

With a trauma-informed approach, One More Child’s Anti-Trafficking program offers a wide range of services to survivors, including safe housing, counseling, medical care, educational support, and vocational training. The goal is to empower survivors, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to overcome their pasts and build a brighter future.
