Costa Rica (CR-Mar-18-2023)
Thank you for your heart to serve in Costa Rica!
Since 2015, One More Child has been working to provide care and education for children.
Noted as one of the safest and most economically stable countries in Central America, Costa Rica is a highly developed nation with a vast number of visitors and expats visiting the blend of cities, rain forests, coastline and mountains. Despite the admirable growth and development, there is still great need for ministry and evangelism efforts, especially in the fight against poverty and human trafficking. Through partnership with local churches and ministries, One More Child is serving children and families through feeding programs, sponsorship programs and community development efforts. Families in our programs receive monthly food baskets and/or hot meals, regular community trainings in health, nutrition, parenting and job skills, and consistent opportunities to hear the Gospel and be discipled.
Lives are being changed in Costa Rica because of people like you!
On your mission trip you may have the opportunity to:
- Food distributions to hungry children.
- Leading youth ministries and activities such as singing, crafts, games and more.
- Helping to provide basic medical dental care.
