In recognition of One More Child…
On July 23, One More Child was honored with the President’s Award by the Florida Sheriffs Association, recognizing our Anti-Trafficking program. This prestigious award underscores our commitment not only to leading the fight against human trafficking but also to supporting survivors on their path to recovery.
Jodi Domangue, Vice President of Program Operations and Public Policy at One More Child, accepted the award at the association’s 2024 Summer Conference. This event acknowledges the vital work of Florida sheriffs and their partners, like One More Child, who collaborate to identify, recover, and empower trafficking survivors.
In 2023, our dedicated 24/7 Mobile Teams directly served 1,007 clients, providing critical support and services. Through our education, advocacy, and awareness initiatives, we reached an additional 12,969 individuals, equipping them with the knowledge to combat trafficking in their communities.

This award affirms everyone who said “yes” to reaching one more—our leadership, staff, partners, and generous supporters. We are encouraged to continue our work of providing Christ-centered service to those in crisis, interrupting patterns of hopelessness. As the Apostle Paul stated, we will “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 15:58b (NKJV).
