For Justin and Carly Galbreath, foster care is a ministry born from Carly’s career in child welfare and their shared faith. After prayerful reflection, they began their journey in 2020 and became licensed in 2021, transforming their home into a sanctuary where children experience love, prayer, and healing. The Galbreaths view fostering as a response to the Gospel, supporting both children and families through restoration and reunification. They are also advocates for parents, offering mentorship and support, as seen in their connection with an incarcerated mother. With a foundation in service and faith, the Galbreaths believe that God must be at the center of foster care, and every challenge is an opportunity for growth.

Timothy and Heather Pye believe foster care is the fulfillment of a lifelong calling to serve with compassion, integrity, and faith. Since starting in 2017, they’ve welcomed 18 children into their home, supported reunifications, and adopted Elijah, whom they first fostered before his first birthday. Their home is a place of joy, safety, and spiritual nourishment, where they work intentionally to keep families together and support biological parents. Timothy and Heather approach each placement with prayer and discernment, always seeking God’s guidance. Their advice to others is simple: “Fear is a liar,” encouraging them to focus on the children and trust God with the rest. Through their faithful service, many children have experienced love, healing, and a glimpse of the Gospel.

For Kaitlin and Seth Jones, foster care is a sacred calling. Since becoming licensed in 2022, they have opened their home to eight children, providing a steady refuge and a bridge toward healing. The Jones family creates a home full of warmth, adventure, and unconditional love, where children can be themselves. While the journey is not always easy, they lean on 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 as a reminder that God sustains them through every challenge. Through humility and resilience, the Jones family continues to be a haven of love for every child they welcome.
