More Child’s Anti-Trafficking team was on the ground and able to support Serene. Initially,
Serene did not see her situation as one of exploitation — she had come to accept it as a normal part of her life. But with compassionate care and support, she began to see the truth.
Our team was with Serene every step of the way as she fought for justice. Because of our holistic approach, Serene not only found a path to safety, but also found hope and a sense of personal empowerment. Today, Serene has transformed into an advocate, using her story to help others who have been victimized by sex trafficking.
