Child Prevention Awareness Month

April marks Child Abuse Prevention Month, a national campaign aimed at raising awareness and preventing child abuse. This critical issue deeply affects all facets of One More Child and the children and families we serve.

In 2021, an estimated 600,000 children were affected by child abuse or neglect, with 1820 children dying as a result. In 77% of substantiated cases, children were abused by a parent.*

If you share our passion for extending the love of Jesus to vulnerable children and struggling families, we encourage you, your friends, and your family to join us in increasing awareness about how each one of us can help prevent child abuse.
